Casita Travel Trailer Miniature

Made a little Christmas gift for my folks :)

Based off the Spirit trailer, which they’ve been tootling around the country in for the past couple years.

    This is absolutely amazing.
Do you sell any like these?
I have never seen such a perfect model done like this before.
    Simply incredible!

What kind of a 3D printer did you use, James?

Amazing job James! Your attention to details is apparent. Any idea how many man hours were involved? I see you’re in DFW.

Being a model railroader and owing a Casita I have thought of doing this, but not with a 3D printer. After I see yours I think I will just keep modeling in HOn3 and leave the trailer models to you. Great Job from a fellow modeler. John L

Awesome job, looks like you put a lot of work into it, any chance you’d be willing to share your model files to try printing on my new Prusa MK3?

James would you share the files?

Best looking Casita Model I have ever seen.
I have the same Casita in full size. One of the best trailers made.

This is really cool! I think this is better quality and has more detail than some of the Revell car models I built as a teenager.

For your next challenge, scale up your plans and build one life-sized like these Canadians!

The quality of this model blows my mind! Great job James!!

I was actually searching for a paper model copy of the Casita when I came across your work.

Please add my name to the list of folks who would be interested in learning more about you sharing the files for this build!!

    Thanks,

Hello, James. I would love to purchase a little casita model from you. I love how you did the entire thing inside and out…i am wondering if you made it with one of those 3d printers? if so, do you have (or would you sell) the plans? i am just dying over here..Thanks so much for sharing.

Well done on this James. Your attention to detail is really amazing. If you ever decide to sell them I would be interested, even if it’s just the shell.

James, great work! I would also be interested in purchasing a mini Casita. I hope you’re selling them now!
